Other than Grace, what else can I say?
When I left the commercial radio station and wanted to dedicate myself to the Lord, Rev. and Mrs. John B. Lin just started Chinese Ministries at FEBC.
At a fellowship meeting, a Church Elder suggested I contact Rev. & Mrs. Lin. Just like that, the Grace that is greater than us fell upon me. I was happy, a young and spiritually naive person, thinking I must be the chosen one, and stepped onto the path of serving the Lord full of joy. In reality, I began to experience God, who values the growth of my spiritual life more than my work as a servant, and He molded me gracefully.
In 2008, FEBC’s contract with a Los Angeles local radio station was about to expire, and God seemed to prod me to give up my work at FEBC. I could not understand this, because God calls people to serve Him. Why would He call me to give up and go home? The Executive Director at that time, Rev. Lo, said: “If this is God’s will, we need to be in submission.” When the contract with the local station expired, I went home.
I remained at home for 7 years. In 2016, I saw this notice: “Co-Workers Wanted” on the news letters from FEBC. I became very sensitive, and asked Him: “Lord, are you calling me back?” Yet I waited for His time. In April, I was urged deeply by the Holy Spirit to contact a FEBC coworker to find out the details. Oh yes, they truly need co-workers. Because of His marvelous Grace, I was able to return to FEBC again.
A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench. The road of serving the Lord is a precious road for a whole life and a Path Full of Grace.
